Generosity Fuels the Mission of Turning Point
On behalf of the Turning Point Board of Directors and the staff who work with survivors every day, we would like to thank our generous donors for the incredible support you give us during the holidays and the rest of the year.
Following are a few examples of the generosity of people in our community. We apologize for not being able to list all the amazing donations we received from every single wonderful donor. Please know that whether you gave us a used item to sell at Second Hand Rose, cash or gift cards in any amount, new items such as toys or clothing for women and children staying in the shelter, or major grant money to help support our program, we appreciate your kindness and we want you to know that WE RELY ON YOU. You are the reason that a woman can save her children from a domestic abuse situation and empower herself to make a new life, and you made it possible for us to provide immediate and supportive services to victims of sexual violence. Your donations allow us to answer more than 10,000 calls from people in many different crisis situations all year long. Thank you. We can't tell you enough - THANK YOU.
The Staff of TD Industrial Coverings of Sterling Heights
Once again, Santa delivered packages of clothes, toys, and wish list items to Turning Point compliments of the wonderful staff at TD Industrial Coverings. This organization is yet another example of a group of people committed to helping survivors of domestic and sexual violence not only during the holidays, but all year long. They have thrown baby showers supplying the shelter with needed infant items and also dedicated their annual company picnic to gather funds, which help support Turning Point Services.
