Bell and Electrode Covers

History:
This product was developed by TDIC 10 years ago in Spain in conjunction with Behr. The purpose was to address the deterioration of solvent attacking the seals in the electrodes.

Function:
The “glove” style design fully protects the bell and the electrodes to absorb over spray and to reduce solvent usage without interfering with the indirect charge or atomization.

“Polylam” material is used to absorb over spray while providing a barrier so that paint does not make contact to the applicator.

Benefits:
This cover allows for paint to accumulate on it without drips, thereby reducing down time due to stoppages for cleaning and enhancing productivity.

It protects the seals from excessive exposure to solvents, thereby reducing repairs and downtime.

The Polylam material allows the paint to stay wet, so that the paint will not dry and flake off.

Technical Specifications:
These covers are used throughout the industry, and do not have any negative impact on electrostatics. The Polylam material does not hold any static charge.
