P155 Robot Cover With Hoses Enclosed
History:
This product was developed in 2003 for the Fanuc P155 Robot that has a microvalve accessory mounted at the top of the horizontal arm and has multiple hoses attached.
Function:
The purpose of this cover is to enclose the hoses within the main cover, as opposed to allowing the hoses to freely sway back and forth during operation.
Benefits:
By immobilizing the hoses, this product provides 2 important benefits:
- It prevents the hoses from rubbing on the turret portion of the cover, thereby increasing the effective life of the cover and reducing the potential of creation of fibers caused by abrasion.
- The elimination of the “swaying” of the hoses significantly reduces the stress of the connection points, thereby protecting the equipment from the breakage of the lines that provide the necessary materials to the applicator.
- The elimination of “swaying” and rubbing on the turret also protects the hoses from breakage due to damage caused by repeated contact with the turret.
